The ten commandments of our sugar shack ...

  1. You will come to the sugar shack at least once a year;
  2. On your way in you will greet everyone politely;
  3. You will visit the boiler room without having an accident;
  4. You and your friends will drink responsibly;
  5. At the table you will eat sausage, ham and eggs;
  6. You will eat lots of maple taffy on snow;
  7. You will enjoy lifes simple pleasures all afternoon;
  8. You will pay the owner generously;
  9. To keep everyone happy there will be no fighting;
  10. Tell your friends that at Lalande you eat well.
